Nothing to install. Tap "Play now" and the game opens in your browser. The first visit takes a little while, because the game downloads about 75 MB; after that your device keeps the files, so it starts much faster.

A recent browser such as Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox works best, and Wi-Fi helps for that first load. If loading seems stuck for a long time, close the tab and open it again, or refresh the page - your farm stays safe.

It's optional - you can play straight away. The game makes a "save code" for your device and keeps your farm online automatically. Think of the code as the key to your farm: write it down and don't share it.

If you'd rather not keep a code, make a free account on the save screen → "Sign in / Sign up": just a username and password, or Google - no e-mail. Then on a new device you simply sign in (and the old save code no longer moves your farms).

Yes - phones, tablets and computers, held upright or sideways. On a phone you get a joystick and a "Use" button that picks the right tool. If your phone warms up or the battery drains fast, lower the graphics quality in Settings; if the text is small, switch on "Large text" there too.

Automatically every time you go to bed, and at every big moment during the day - finishing a quest, hatching an egg, selling, or switching to another app. Close the game mid-day and you carry on from the same time.

The game keeps the last 5 versions of each farm: open "Save code / move device" → "Backups" on the save screen. You can also export a farm as a file there. If you clear your browser or change device, your save code brings the farm back - write it down, since a lost code can't be recovered.

Yes. With an account, just tap "Sign in / Sign up" on the new device and sign in. Without one, tap "Save code / move device" on the save screen of your old device to see the code, then type it under "Use a code from another device" on the new one. If the two devices have different saves, the game asks which one to keep playing.

We keep no e-mails, so there's no reset link - but you can still get in. If you linked Google, use "Continue with Google". If you're still signed in on a device, open the account button there and choose "New password". If neither, contact the team on Discord with your username, farm name and friend code. Linking Google early saves you the worry.

Both. On the save screen, tap your @username. "Sign out" takes the account's farms off that device (they stay in the account) - handy on a shared device. "Delete account" removes the username, password and Google link at once; the farms on that device stay and go back to a save code.

Everything comes in both languages - the villagers' lines, quests, item names and menus - and you can switch any time without touching your save.

Never. If you forget them for a day they get a bit hungry and grumpy, and cheer up again once you look after them. Mallows living in the Mallow Meadow eat from a shared trough - keep it topped up with vegetables and they stay fed and happy; if it runs empty they just get hungry and skip growing that day.

You get your first egg as a welcome gift, and that first one hatches extra quickly. More turn up as you play and explore - keep your eyes open. An egg warms up in your egg pocket while you play; the countdown sits at the top left.

Not at all. A game day passes in a little over ten minutes, so even one day at a time is fun - and nothing is lost if you stay away for a while.

Game time only moves while you're playing: crops don't wither while you're away, and your Mallows are always waiting on the farm. Some days you might just water and go to bed; others you might explore all day - it's up to you.

Grow crops through all four seasons and plant fruit trees, raise Mallows and give them jobs, cook, bake and craft, fish, catch bugs and fireflies, explore the woods, dig ore in the mine to upgrade your tools, decorate your home and farm, donate to the museum, help with jobs on the village board, join the festivals, and get to know your neighbours. The rest is for you to discover.

You've got choices. The shipping box beside your house takes anything and pays the next morning. Auntie Kaew's shop in the village buys at full price and pays on the spot, and for fish, the riverside fish shop in the village pays best.

Some things are worth keeping instead - cooking ingredients, a gift a neighbour would love, or something the museum hasn't got yet.

Village shops keep their own hours, just like real ones, and the shopkeepers have their own routines. The sign by each door tells you whether it's open right now. If it's closed, come back during opening hours - or chat with the villagers while you wait; you might even bump into the shopkeeper out for a stroll.

Use the bug net: walk up close and swing it at the insect in front of you. Once it's in the net it wriggles to get away, and you need to hold it gently - rare ones wriggle extra hard. Each kind comes out in its own seasons, hours and places, and every catch goes into your insect book.

Fireflies come out on clear evenings (not in winter) from about half past six. One swing of the net and it's yours - but they're shy, and drift away if you rush at them.

The farm, the village, fishing and the kitchen & workbench are open from day one. The forests open one at a time through quests in the village, and the mine comes after. Open the quest log, follow the main quests, and remember to press "Claim" when one is done.

There's no combat at all - play at your own gentle pace. If a quest has you stuck, the game offers hints and map pins, and the guide book is always there to read.

A few things take a little timing - fishing, or netting a rare insect - but a miss costs nothing and you can always try again. Running low on energy? Have a snack or go to bed, and a new day fills you right back up.

Yes! Swap friend codes at the mailbox by your house, then visit each other's farms, send letters, and send a gift parcel each day (online saves need to be on).
